Gary Burton is a painter from the Finger Lakes region. He specializes in painting exact reproductions of photographs on canvas, then photographing those paintings and, finally, painting that photograph onto a final canvas. This “recursive paintographing”, as he likes to call it, has made him a reputation as a bright young up-and-comer in the local arts.

He has had work exhibited in many local venues and received high marks on all of his art school assignments.
